STAR SPANGLED

Real name Alex Omar-Smth aka Omar S is a modern day Detroit maverick - one
of a new generation of producers putting his own unique slant on the
city's techno tradition.

With a raw, soulful sound that owes as much to classic Chicago house as
the moody synth work of Derrick May et al, Omar S is one of the last of his
kind: 100% independent, he releases the majority of his work through his own
FXHE label, which he runs out of his basement.

He's been putting out records since 2003, flitting effortlessly across the
house genres . He will play a 3 hour set on East Village's ace basement
system with Star Spangled resident Stuart Patterson and London guests Orin
Walters (Bugz in the Attic) and Jimmy P (Faith) adding their deep house and
warm techno to the mix.
Upstairs Jimbo (Raw Deal) brings his Walking in Rhythm party to East
Village with a great mix of latin/funk/soul/disco.

Was our busiest night of 08' so get ready this night is gonna be MASSIVE,
pen the diaries and arrive early to avoid any disappointment on the door.

Star Spangled will bring the cream of America's real house and techno
talent regularly to East Village.
