love this clip of Marvin rehearsing "I Want You" with his band in Ostend, Belgium in 1981.
I recommend the whole docu for avid Soul & Marvin fans - gives a good insight to the time "Midnight Love" album & "Sexual Healing" were recorded + from a musicianship point of view - great behind the scenes footage like this.

Leon Ware co-wrote the song, apparently Marvin recorded the original at his house & even on this session he was laying down when he put the vocals down in 1976
