DPR/GROOVECHRONICLES is the brainchild of DJ/PRODUCER NOODLES formulated in 1997. The idea for the label which stands for Dat Pressure Records was "cutting edge hybrid beats"which was Noodles driving force for "being a bit different".

Years later this label is still recongized as being the foundation of some of todays genre, 2step/dubstep and grime and has been mentioned as being influential to many new producers of these styles
