You can count me in, and there are at least 3 others from this community that I know are confirmed... one from Vancouver, one from Detroit, and another from L.A. (but orig. Detriot)... Wish I could be there, but the budget is too tight this year. I haven't looked at The List yet, but anyone know off-the-top what this year has in store for us? I feel like giving my jealous a head start.

Actually... does anyone have any leads on recommended places to stay? I am looking and its the usual $$'s, I can deal with that, but I thought some peeps here that have already booked may have some better ideas...

Have you tried the Clay Hotel:

They have some cheap, if sparse, single rooms. Those might already be booked, but they also have hostel accommodations, if you're willing to stay in a room with a few strangers (who are all there for WMC anyway). I did that a few years ago and it wasn't too bad, considering there's not a lot of sleeping to be done at WMC, so I didn't need to spend too much time there. Everyone there just used the place to crash. Very lowkey.
